Termiprotec nanotechnology and properties

At Termiprotec we use ecological raw materials with ecological methods. Rice hull ash based silicate is used to produce premium quality aerogels.

Aerogels are state-of-the-art materials based on nanotechnology. It contains nanometer-sized bubbles which makes it an excellent insulation material.

Termiprotec product lines are applied as roller, brush and compressor paint. Becoming an ideal material for all types of structures, surfaces and morphologies. 

It is resistant to UV rays and is intrinsically waterproof, so once applied, it does not require any kind of coating to prevent the entry of moisture that could modify its insulating characteristics.

Airgel was first used to capture interstellar dust particles from Comet Wild 2 by the Stardust mission, an interplanetary US space probe launched by NASA.  

Aerogels are such good thermal insulators that they are used to insulate spacecraft.
